Walk to End Bladder Cancer -
We regret to inform you that we are unable to have the 2020 Pennsuaken Walk to End Bladder in person. We had hoped to postpone the event until later however, due to a number of restrictions beyond our control, we cannot host the event at all this year. Although we cannot be together face-to-face, you can still participate virtually.
What does it mean to walk virtually? To participate virtually, all you have to do is pick a place, a date and (if allowed) ask some friends and family to join you. You can walk in your neighborhood, park or even at home on the treadmill. Be sure to take pictures and post them in the Walk Facebook Group or email them to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Anyone who registers at www.bcanwalk.org will receive the 2020 Walk T-shirt. If you are already registered, you should have received your t-shirt in the mail.
You may be aware that BCAN hosted a live virtual event via Facebook, Twitter and YouTube on May 2nd. We hope you were able to participate. If not, you can find the video of the broadcast here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9IrfUVhwDT8&t=1795s. The broadcast includes clips from patients, caregivers, doctors and more. It also has BCAN mission moments and a warm up. We recommend watching it to get pumped up for your walk.
Thank you for all of your support and we look forward to seeing you in 2021!
